One of the UK's largest independent system integration organisations handling various contracts ranging in value is hiring for an experienced sales and business development manager. The company is determined to provide the reference standard in quality, accuracy, safety and durability for products and services in the industrial, ultra high purity and natural gas industries. This position is a full time national role and travel around the UK is an essential part of this position. The role will be based from the Head Office in Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field-based solution sales to gas utilities networks and contractors throughout the UK.
  • Take ownership of and develop specific market sectors.
  • Undertake client meetings.
  • Fielding commercial and technical queries.
  • Develop technical concepts.
  • Identify potential leads for future sales.
  • Responding to customer queries in a professional manner.
  • Building inter-departmental relationships within the company.
  • Produce weekly / monthly / quarterly Sales reports.
  • Production of technical quotations.
  • Attend conferences and exhibitions.
  • Working in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
Essential Requirements:
  • 5 years of proven technical solution sales experience
  • Minimum of a HNC in a related Engineering discipline.
  • Control, Instrumentation, Analytical Instrumentation or Gas Analyser technical solution sales experience.
  • Consultative sales approach, understanding the formation of long-term relationships and development partnerships.
  • Solid understanding of project life cycle.
Full driving license (max of 3 points).
